I really liked this hotel it's small cozy , clean , well maintained, we where there in low season so no one around , located right in the middle of the main plaza , you can take nice evening walks , it has a brewery called el zopilote, good ambiance , we enjoyed our stay

This is a beautiful hotel right next to the main plaza with lots of stores, restaurants etc., so great location. Very clean and updated property with pool area and breakfast served daily. Wonderful choice for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel 1697. The location is excellent, right on the main square. It's tucked away so you feel like you are in a quiet oasis. The property is charming, and the rooms are spacious. We enjoyed the included breakfast each morning by the pool. The staff was lovely. We hope to return soon.

The hotel was beautiful and location excellent. Several comfortable rooms set around a peaceful, private courtyard just off the city square. The staff were wonderful and welcoming. Alejandro was attentive to guests’ needs and Veronica and her team kept both the hotel rooms and grounds looking immaculate. Veronica also oversaw the breakfast included with the booking. There was a nice spread and then she would make eggs or an omelette to order. Thank you for all your hard work and a great stay!
