Excellent stay. The room was very clean with a nice large bathroom and fridge with a freezer. Communication with Sheena was timely and clear. We appreciated the EV chargers on the property and easy access to the ferry terminal.

Any concerns I had were immediately met with solutions. This place was absolutely adorable. Loved all the staff, the rooms are gorgeous and the beds are comfortable. The restaurant is fantastic for every meal, memorable and affordable delicious food. Quiet at night, sweet little deck to watch the stars. I would recommend to anyone staying on the island!! We will definitely be going back in the future to stay again. The rooms are clean and the whole building smells amazing. The decor is adorable. If you are a blogger, it would be a perfect place to stay.

Quiet little place just minutes from the ferry. Very convenient location it was clean and had very up to date rooms with a modern nautical theme. Only downside was the rooms soundproof amount so you could hear the guests in the next room. Restaurant on site was also conveniently located downstairs with a variety of responsibly prices dishes. It was very convenient having a contactless check in process and the ability to get there later in the day and not have to worry about anything being closed for the day. Wifi was excellent and Parking was close with no walk needed. Overall stay was very enjoyable. We are already planning to return next summer to explore more of the small but beautiful Island.

The place was impeccable, thoughtful and inviting. The self checkout worked perfectly. It did lack a little direction when arriving but otherwise, this i a very well hidden gem and i would love to see the concept elsewhere. It makes me want to go back to Deer Island every day just to sleep there!

A really great hotel with clean, spacious rooms in an authentic style. The rooms have a fridge and a coffee machine, and everything is very clean and well maintained. There’s free parking and a cozy little restaurant with tasty food on the first floor. There isn’t a traditional reception desk, but checking in is incredibly easy. You get all the instructions online and a door code, so everything is simple and convenient. The hosts respond very quickly, are friendly, and are always happy to help. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free place to stay.

Quaint little property on Deer Island. We didn’t realize we had to take a ferry to get here, but once we got used to, the travel back and forth to St George was easy and enjoyable to get a free ferry ride a few times a day and be on the water. Lovely property and very responsive hosts. Loved the nautical decor, spacious bathrooms and comfortable bed. The layout and placement of things in the room was so organized and useful. It was great to be able to log into my Netflix and too and catch up on a few shows before bed. The property had a little shared space with kettle and microwave and cutlery, and you can access a patio. The WiFi was great, although I did not have cell service on the island, something to be aware of, Loved the peace and quiet of the island and even booked a second night. Would definitely return and stay again.

I loved my stay here and will definitely be back. The room was great and looked just like the photos. The bathroom was luxurious and probably the nicest of any hotel I’ve stayed at! Lots of counter space and a big mirror that lights up. I can tell serious money was invested in this place. Lots of extra towels. I also really liked the shampoo/conditioner/body wash left for guests to use. I could tell it was high quality and not the watered down, cheap stuff that other hotels get. Check-in/check-out was really easy. There are also many lights outside if you arrive after dark or need to return to your car for any reason. No issues with the internet, even when streaming a show/movie. As an EV owner, I really love that there are level 2 chargers in the parking lot so that my car can charge overnight. Number one reason I book a hotel. The restaurant underneath has great food - stay in or get some to eat in your room. There is also a gift shop with items by local artists. I was also able to spot some deer in the early morning from my window!

Loved the cleanliness of the room and restaurant. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Loved having the restaurant and a gift shop in the same building. I would suggest a grab bar outside the shower/tub and availability of ice on the floor.

This place was a phenomenal stay, we truly felt at home even away from home. Everyone was so kind, pleasant and friendly! The room was beautiful and so easy to navigate, we absolutely loved our stay! The pricing is very affordable, as well as a beautiful room! We are beyond grateful and thankful to have such beautiful and amazing stay here! Highly recommended!

This property was conveniently located 5 min away from the Deer Island ferry. Facilities were spotless. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Everything appeared brand new and of good quality. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were luxurious. Conveniently located to 2 of Deer Islands restaurants and Bellas general store. Excellent experience and highly recommended.

At 1st glance, the building looks like an industrial warehouse, but don't let that fool you! The place was spotless, very comfortable, and the room was quite spacious. However, for us the highlight was the exceptional staff. We had a flat tire and the staff pitched in to get us the assistance we need to have the tire repaired which is way above what we expected. We highly recommend this property if you're staying on Deer Island, NB.

Lovely little suite. Interesting property that looked pretty plain on the outside, but suprisingly had a cool gift store and a delicious restaurant all contained. The decor had a pleasant East Coast flair (we loved the Lobster Trap Chairs) and the washroom was very roomy, well stocked and clean Keyless self-checkin was easy and the property was easy to find in this quaint fishing village. We booked and enjoyed a great Whale Watch tour with Ocean Safaris only 4 minutes away. We will visit this area again and will definitely stay at the Homeport

A brand new and tasteful facility

The facility is brand new and the room I was very nicely decorated. Everything was sparking clean. It is also very quiet; so I had overall a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Although there is no reception, the management was readily available by messaging and extremely responsive. Make sure you receive your room number and PIN needed to enter. In my case I didn't because of an email glitch (nothing to do with the property).
