“The hotel is an attractive building set in extensive grounds, with an interesting woodland walk. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, there were a few areas where the guest experience could be improved. It took us quite a while to find our room because the receptionist did not give us complete directions, and the signage did not direct guests to the second lift. “The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The location of the property was very good, within easy walking distance of the centre of Norwich so no need to take the car. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is a self-service buffet - cereals and bread for toast are provided and there is orange juice, butter, milk, jam etc. in a small fridge. Microwaveable porridge was also available, however, there were no kitchen scales so it would have been difficult to measure out the correct...

“Excellent hotel! Excellent staff. I arrived late due to being held up at work so called ahead, the chap on the phone was kind enough to wait 1hr30 past the check-in deadline for me to get there, thank you! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable. The room is very well presented and incredibly clean, bed was super comfy and bathroom was spotless and of a decent size. Paid extra for the Full English...
