Excellent location with Paddington Station one block away. Shops nearby for water and snacks. Clean rooms. Small bathrooms, but that’s Europe for you. Would definitely stay here again.

The Norfolk is really convenient to Paddington Station. The nearness makes travelling around London super easy. The surrounding area is busy but safe. Inside the hotel is clean. Staff were always on site and helpful. I would stay here again.

To reach the reception desk, you have to climb a steep flight of stairs. Once you’re checked in, there is no elevator to your room. In the room, the bathroom is too narrow for someone using a walker or wheelchair to navigate.

Fantastic location 5 minutes walk from Paddington. Very clean and well equipped, newly renovated with really helpful friendly staff. Yes bathrooms tiny but spotless and had everything you could need and more. Some noise but that's expected in a period building in a major city. Would not hesitate to book again.

Having to pay £100 (holding fee) is not needed. Only hotel I’ve stayed at that does this. Not a fan of this method. Staff very friendly & would recommend. Great location as well. Fairly comfortable although you can hear what’s going on in the adjacent rooms.

Very small room, however is an ideal location for a very short stay. Staff woke us up at 12am telling off other guests next door. Not well handled. Overall for the price, there are better options available.

Good price compared with other hotels in central London and very close to all the transport links around Paddington station. Lovely reception staff. Room was great, comfy bed and crisp linen. Bathroom very small - everything you need and a good shower but it wouldn't suit a larger person. Door would benefit from more soundproofing - I could hear guests in the rooms opposite talking, but maybe I was unlucky and they were being particularly loud.

Was no blind in Bathroom we didn’t notice as we checked in after 21-00 an was dark we went straight out when we came back I went to reception an complained about this , I had to hold a towel by window for wife to shower this month room 406

Room was unbearably hot. Aircon blew warm air. Asked for another room. This was accommodated. I was moved from the 4th floor (No lift) to the ground floor. This room was just as hot with the AC blowing hot even when you select cold. I found a new hotel and was refused my money back

Overall an ok place to stay. The room was very clean and nicely decorated, the bed was very comfy. It's in a decent area with good transport links and a shirt walk from Hyde Park. However, the bathroom was very small and hard to navigate. We were put in one of the lower rooms and there was some vibration from the trains. That would have been fine, except something in or above the room was rattling every time a train went under (about every 3-5 minutes). I reported it to the front desk as we were struggling to sleep and I'm not sure they understood what I was trying to say and just told me it's the trains and they stop at midnight. They did stop at midnight and we managed to get some sleep, only to be woken up by the rattling when services resumed around 6:30am. I would overall recommend this as a place to stay, just maybe in one of the rooms on the upper floor.

On the plus, the room was immaculately clean, everything looked very new, and the bed was very comfy. I found the man on reception unwelcoming, and I am never impressed when a hotel reception says your room number out loud when you are a woman travelling solo. Need a company policy and training on this. It’s an old property, so no lifts (I was on the 4th floor but thankfully only an overnight bag). It is single glazed windows so a bit noisy, and not great sound proofing between rooms.

The hotel room was very clean and cutely decorated. However, the room was extremely small and almost nonexistent space to put anything. The bathroom was also extremely small with no shelves. We also had been unaware that there were no lifts and we replaced on the third floor.. Thankfully, the hotel staff was kind enough to carry our suitcases up for us. Some members of the staff were friendly and very helpful, others not so much. If you’re just needing a quiet clean place to sleep and a tiny bathroom and shower is not an issue, this was a good place for the value. We were also very pleased that the air-conditioning worked well as we were there during a very hot time.

The hotel is across the street from Paddington Station. I thought it would be noisy but we never even heard our room neighbors once they entered their own rooms. We were also there during the hottest days on record but slept well due to the in-room air conditioning unit keeping us cool. The one downside is that the room was tight with very little storage (no dresser, only one small shelf with a teapot and glasses). I had to take clothes out of my suitcase, stand my suitcase up, and put my clothes on top of the standing suitcase just to sidle sideways by the bed. The bathroom was also tight quarters. Adding extra shelves in both the room and bathroom would help quite a bit. Aside from needing a little more storage, it was an excellent place to stay. Quiet, cool when we needed it, close by a major transportation hub, with very responsive staff. We recommend it for travelers who want to save a little money without compromising on a quality stay.

Average London stay. There was mould in my room I could hardly breath at some point. I had to have windows open at all times. I knew what I was getting. I was hopeful but They won’t see me again.

The staff was so kind and friendly and helpful , very accommodating with quite literally everything . We stayed during a heatwave and the air conditioning was an absolute lifesaver. The beds were comfy , the tv had Netflix and everything like that it was so lovely !

Localisation idéale et petit hôtel de charme, calme, très bien entretenu, on s'y sent bien. A noter qu'il n'y a pas d'ascenseur (4 étages seulement) mais le personnel est toujours disponible pour aider à porter les valises. Je recommande !

Die Lage des Hotels war perfekt, ein paar Schritte von Paddington Station. das Zimmer war klein, aber sehr sauber und das Bett sehr bequem. auch das Badezimmer war zwar sehr klein, aber sauber. Die schlechten Bewertungen kann ich absolut nicht nachvollziehen. Das war eine super Unterkunft zu einem guten Preis.

I have already tried to send comments to the hotel directly but have had no reply to my email so am having to review publicly which I wouldn’t normally do, I booked a ‘delux double room’ and requested a quiet room, I was given a room that was incredibly basic, had a noisy electric heater on the wall that rattled the light fitting, it shook every time a tube went past, the smell in the tiny bathroom was so bad I could barely use it, check in involved handing a key and telling me a room number - no directions to the room, wifi info or any info on the hotel - it was all very basic, wouldn’t recommend
