we Didn’t get to stay we arrived outside hotel to find it closed and building work being done
It was derelict so we were left in the middle of London with no where to go and customer service were not helpful kept thinking that we were lying and kept trying to contact the hotel and then not ringing us back
Took nearly an hour to get it sorted and ended up booking our own hotel elsewhere although they have promised to refund the difference but yet to see that

The New Globe Hotel is shut down; permanently closed
This hotel doent exist! It was boarded up! I didn't find out until i was there knocking on the door and someone said they had been closed for a long time. Kind of pissed that hotels.com didn't let me know in advance that my reservation was no good

looks like its derelict, outside is filthy with most windows smashed and boarded up with cardboard, inside was just as bad carpets ripped bar / eating area wasnt even built deluxe room was tiny probably big enough for my grandson not an adult please send round an inspector before recommending to anyone else, DID NOT STAY definately do dont recommend to anyone :(
Location near underground, by walk is possible to go to centre or is possible to keep bicykle, food shops very closed, no accepted Mastercards, positive is cash payment by Pounds or EUR, staff was nice, hotel every time closed, 24 hours free access
Without doubt one of the worst hotels I have been in for many years. Room had not been hoovered, bathroom smelled and had extensive black mould, stair carpet worn and ripped, mattress was uncomfortable and half the tv channels did not work. Good job sheets were clean or I would have walked out.
I am back in the areas from Wednesday and will not consider staying here again.
The location was where we wanted to be, but for the price, the room was pretty basic.

OK hotell for a night or two.
Located exactly where we wanted to be. Not a high standard and no A/C, but that was expected. Totally acceptable for one night. Unfortuately it was a warm night, and with the window open and a lot of noise from the streets. ,

Not the best value for money for a hotel in London
Only stayed for one night with late arrival. Room is not very big and furniture not in very good state. Don't count on the coffee machine / water kettle as indicated in room description. WiFi is fine. Hotel is close to Victoria Park (great for a run).
