Pretty standard classic old style hotel, nothing fancy. Very convenient to Paddington station, reasonable cost, good value. Decent breakfast. No A/C, so beware if traveling in summer. (They do provide you with a fan) I was satisfied with my stay.

Location, price, staff, I'll give them all 5 stars 🌟. The English breakfast was lovely. The only disappointment I have was the nasty room odor, it smells like dirty socks or like baby milk vomit, the carpet was old and looked dirty, to improve this hotel the carpet must be replaced ASAP.

Loved the location, close to all the wonderful sights that Oxford has to offer. Great access to eateries, transport and shopping. The staff were exceptionally helpful. Only downside was that the lift was out of order. Other than that I would definitely return.

This is a quaint hotel with clean rooms. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was within walking distance of many shops and restaurants and the city and hop-on hop-off bus stops.

The location is perfect for commuting around london and outside of london. Several underground stations within 5 min walk. Breakfast was great and staff was amazing. My only complaints are some updates that would help make the stay more accomodating- iron boards, fridge. Restaurants around the hotel are fabulous too!

excellent staff on reception - very helpful - room was clean but smelt of cigarettes but the weather was good so we could have the window open. Breakfast was ok - staff seemed a little flustered and their English was not so good so sometimes they had to fetch a 2nd staff member but all in all - great location and comfy beds

Location is great as it’s close to Hyde park and Westminster palace. Very close to Lancaster gate station and also Paddington train station to Heathrow Airport. Hotel has great full English breakfast and staff are wonderful. Hotel has no air conditioning.
