The room was fine. It was clean. There was air con which is not always found in London hotels. However it was noisy, even closing the window abd having the air-con on it was very noisy!! The staff were polite.

A unique hotel, and very friendly reception staff. I was in the Orient Express room which is a small single - you may wish to let reception know if you are particularly tall as the bed is deliberately like a train sleeper. The reception is clean and welcoming but if you're sensitive to scents, be aware that it is quite heavily fragranced. I didn't use any of the amenities but it does look like a very interesting and unusual place to explore. Would recommend.

The hotel is authentic and well managed. Everything works including the air-conditioning, it is well maintained and clean and you can tell that the owners/ managers are dedicated to their business. There is a proudly Turkish aspect to this business which is especially noticeable in the decor and the food. The hotel breakfast is delicious and flavoursome - a must have! If I stayed longer I would have liked to use the spa centre too. Although there is a train line outside, the rooms are double glazed and I had the best sleep. The area itself is gentrifying and is reasonably close to the centre and transport is a short walk away.

The decorations and gardens throughout the hotel were amazing. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of foods, hot and cold. The rooms have names and information about the people are in the rooms. Our room was the Karl Marx room and had a book about him and other literature in it.

Great hotel with amazing ferry-tale like vibes. Breakfast has a very good selection, beds and bedding the most comfortable and bedrooms were create with travelers in mind to make sure their guests get the relaxing night after a whole day walking around town. The hotel staff is responsive and very friendly; they always willing to go above and beyond to make sure their guests get the best experience in the hotel and have the most pleasant memories of London. We had a fabulous stay at this wonderful quirky hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we stayed in the Charlotte Brontë twin room, the beds were very comfortable and the room was immaculate. The location is great, easy walking distance to Limehouse train station, it’s also on a very good bus route into the centre of London. The breakfast was lovely, lots of choice, with something for everyone. We had lots of plans for our trip so didn’t get chance to try the spa facilities, maybe next time. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to stay again in the future.

The hotel was clean throughout and staff were very helpful. The rooms were nice, though each room in our party had some kind of an issue. Our bathroom handle was broken. Someone else’s blinds were broken. Though clean, not looked after. It’s also not really fit for infants. They provided a cot which was good, but laid towels down as bed sheets, and didn’t have any cot sized duvets or pillows. Not acceptable to use towels as sheets.
