I thought the hotel more than met my expectations. Very modern, clean, and the staff were very helpful. Food at breakfast was good and had been replenished (I was late going down to breakfast) so was pleased to see everything was available.

Room was clean, was close by to train station and local shops and was close by to a nice park to sit and enjoy the late night sun. Was able to park in the underground car park so made it alot easier that trying to find somewhere to park.

Hotel itself was okay. The location is good. We had a twin room (room 316) and one of the beds was okay, the other totally broken causing the mattress to sag. We would have complained and asked to change room but did not realise this until midnight as we came back from a concert and were too tired to faff around trying to change rooms. Was a shame though, and very uncomfortable. On the plus side, the man at reception was very nice and helpful in terms of recommending travel options

The room was lovely, huge and clean with a nice desk area, spacious bathroom, nice toiletries and a hairdryer and wardrobe. There were plenty of plugs and the bed was comfy and big. There was also nice natural light thanks to a big window. I only give this a 4/5 because the iron is in an ironing room on the 4th floor so not as convenient as being able to borrow for use in your room and the breakfast was very busy (difficult to get a seat on your own because of the table setup) and not as great a choice as at another Ibis Styles in London unfortunately. There’s also only one towel in the bathroom but I was able to ask for another one no problem.
