Great location. Near transit, shops, restaurants and many more businesses. Working elevator (lift) is very small. They allowed us to check our bags before checking in. Daily housekeeping was efficient.

Really good location, a few minutes walk from Earl's Court tube station. Staff on reception were welcoming and friendly. Some redecoration going on in the lobby but didn't interfere with us at all. Rooms quite basic but the beds and pillowd were really comfy and very clean. Towels and toiletries in the bathroom. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Garden View Hotel

It is a beautiful property- and currently undergoing some renovations- but that didn’t get in our way at all. Being an old building we expected it to not be perfect. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean in all the ways that mattered… bed, bathroom, floors. The room could use a deeper cleaning - some areas were dusty. But overall we enjoyed the stay here. Beds were comfortable and soft.

Our stay was perfect. The front desk staff were super helpful and made check in/out so simple. The location of the hotel was perfect for our stay in London. The underground was quick and easy to get to, always felt safe walking, even by myself at night. Would highly recommend!

I have stayed a few time before and it's been satisfactory but this time was excellent purely based on the room that I was assigned. I booked the twin room this time for a little extra space and was so nice. The room also had a view of a nice exterior space. My only concern is if I was to book this hotel in winter is if there would be heat. This particular room I had this time didn't have heat so that would be a question to ask if booking in colder months. But otherwise I would definitely book again. Very convient location to the Tube and great restaurants in Earl's Court.

I arrived from LAX and my flight was delayed so 18 hours of travel. I was exhausted and miserable when I arrived. The lovely lady behind the desk offered sympathy and a clean room a bit early. I stayed a week as I was off to a Greek room and this is one of the two hotels I choose. I like the Garden in front and proximity to Earls Court underground. But the room has good coffee, always clean and the staff warm and compassionate!

The hotel Is a very basic but clean and comfortable place to stay in central London. The twin room we had was not particularly big but it had everything we needed for a 3 night stay including milk, coffee and tea and was cleaned every day. It could do with being refurbished but we were not looking for anything special - we just wanted an inexpensive place to stay in a quiet neighbourhood and this hotel fully met our needs.

A good option for budget conscious solo travelers. Room was tiny (think cruise ship cabins), but comfortable and well equipped, and the location was perfect—just three blocks from a major tube station. I would stay there again.

The hotel is located in a quiet area of London. It is nearby the Underground, which makes it very convenient to go anywhere around London. The room that I stayed at, however, was very dated. It was not very clean. There was dust and debris in unused areas, such as the telephone and kettle, under bed and the chair. Worst yet is that I’m covered in bug bites everywhere. I woke up every morning with a new one. I am hoping it is not bed bugs bites. I will be getting it checked.

We had 4 adults in one room with 1 double bed and 2 twin beds. There was plenty of room for us to sleep plus a small table that we played cards on, all of our traveling luggage, and a fan to help beat the heat wave. The staff was incredibly nice. There was a small balcony for us to people watch overlooking a lovely park. Everything from restaurants to markets to souvenir stores were all within walking distance. It made us all think about moving to the area.

This review depends on what you want when you travel. If you want cheap and pretty good location, like me, this is great. I would stay here again. But if you like nice hotels this isn’t for you. Very thin walls and was woken up a lot by neighbors moving around. Some people checked in at about 2 am and immediately checked out because they didn’t like it. I heard the woman chewing the guy out for picking a dump. The water pressure in shower was minimal. It looked to be under some construction. But the bed was comfortable and there were good pubs and restaurants a couple blocks away. Not far from the Piccadilly and district lines, which pretty much get you to all the important things to do and see in London. Since I don’t care about those other things i was good with it, but be careful if you expect lots of space and comfort or your travel companion is high maintenance.

Great Location and Friendly Staff, but Disappointing Room Amenities The hotel is clean, the staff is welcoming, and the location is excellent. The room also matched the description and photos provided on Expedia. Unfortunately, the room amenities were very disappointing. The TV did not work properly, the shower water pressure was extremely weak, making showering difficult and time-consuming, and the hot water was insufficient or almost nonexistent. These are basic necessities that should be provided by any hotel. I hope management takes these issues seriously and addresses them. I would advise future guests to consider these drawbacks before booking, as a great location and friendly staff cannot compensate for such essential facilities not working properly.

The location of this property was great! The size of the room was great! Had a fridge, sink, dishes, microwave, 2 beds. It was a very nice room. Everything was clean and the cleaning staff helped keep our towels and materials well stocked. I've stayed here before and really liked the location of this hotel to the Underground, and different places around London. The ONLY think I wish this hotel had was air conditioning. They did give us a fan to help. Luckily, when we were there in June, the evenings were still very cool and kept the room nice at night, BUT, if we were staying there a week later or into July, it would have been almost unbearable.
