We booked a superior king room. It was spacious and with all amenities as described and matched the photos. Hotel was conveniently located 5 mins walk from tube and great for us walking to the Barbican. Everyone on the desk was really friendly and we were able to check in early, which was great. Bed and shower were ok, not the best we’ve had in London. Overall it was a nice spacious room and bathroom with great amenities.

Great location, close to underground stations and some lovely bars. We had a deluxe king room which was gorgeous, a few snacks and soft drinks included in the mini bar, slippers, dressing gown, gorgeous bathroom with a lovely stand alone bath, only negative there was no view, literally looked into a building with scaffold around it. Fantastic breakfast!

This hotel is amazing and one of the best we have stayed in. It’s in a quiet location but close to Liverpool Street and Moorgate underground stations. The hotel is in a great condition, rooms are quiet and comfortable and the staff are fantastic. We always return to this hotel and a huge mention to PJ who was simply incredible and an amazing person. Thank you Clayton hotel for another amazing stay

A great little hotel. Lovely, clean room, & pretty spacious for London, perfect for a one night getaway. Breakfast was table service (no buffet), but a good choice on the menu and overall good quality. I would definitely consider staying again!

Quite a nice hotel but there were some negatives. The shower head was cracked so water went sideways as well as down. The TV hadn't been retuned in years so there were channels listed that are long since departed (Horror etc). BBC1 HD had no sound (typical of a TV that need retuning). The bedside lamp has a mind of its own so it turned off when it pleased. The room was a decent size and the bed big and comfortable.
