“An amazing stay. The dining experience was excellent and the renovations that are underway at this venue is out of this world. The bedrooms are very tired and but very desirable but clean and comfortable and price reflective - a dog friendly venue - dogs welcome in all spaces. Brilliant !!! the bedrooms are scheduled for renovation November 2025 - if these are going to be designed and completed to the standard of the social spaces then the grand villa hotel will be outstanding and I imagine one...

“The Royal Oak has a wonderful location in a quiet village setting and visitors can expect a relaxing change of pace. The countryside around is spectacular for England and the people are without exception friendly and helpful. I'm perhaps biased because my family lived in Gt Ayton in the early 19th Century and although I was born in North Yorkshire today, as a visiting southerner it's very much my home ground. “This is the second time at The Witching Post inn. We love the location.. easy to get to Whitby, Staithes, Robin Hood bay and Goathland. Pete and his team were great hosts and looked after us. Fantastic food, all home cooked and fresh local produce. We would highly recommend. We will definitely be back. ”

En un apartamento para cuatro sólo había dos sillas, y el sofá está completamente hundido. Nos dieron la llave del apartamento equivocada,tuvimos que esperar al responsable casi media hora, de noche y con mucho frío. Llegó riéndose.”
