“AVOID AWFUL HOTEL.”

“Interior del hotel muy bien decorado. Habitación amplia (7), cómoda y calentita. En el cuarto de baño había un problema de evacuación del agua de la ducha. Punto negativo, la manera de recibir ha sido un poco impersonal y hemos tenido que pagar todo con antelación cuando hemos llegado. Personal del desayuno muy simpático, muchas gracias a ella por sus sonrisas y su ayuda. Desayuno muy bueno y completo.”

“Possibly one of the best hotels I've stayed in a while. Staff were lovely. The pub on site had a real community feel and did a lovely pie and mash. Was very close to Snowdon making a sunrise hike possible and the amenities such as water and snacks were lovely. Overall one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in and would recommend to travelers in the area”

“A unique bed&breakfast... perfe location after a day's hike up in the mountains and dinner os 15 minutes away . The room was very nice and comfy. I also enjoyed the reading room upstairs. Breakfast next morning was really good and plentiful. My wife bought a pair of alpacca socks ( you need to stay there to understand fully, there are 3 of them in the back ) Claire is a fantastic host who took really good care of us”

“This would be a reasonable budget option if not for the mattresses. The springs were completely shot and either very old or very cheap. Everything else was decent if they could manage that simple fix”

“A friendly welcome to the property. Although nowhere in the village to eat in the evening, we were recommended a restaurant 5 minute drive away in Corwen. Straightforward continental breakfast in the morning available. As the pub shut at 10pm, there was no late night noise so enjoyed a good night's sleep. A great base for exploring the area.”

“We arrived late, so didn't expect to be greeted. We had called and advised that we would be late, so Hazel gave us excellent instructions on how to get in after closing. She also took our breakfast order on the phone. The next morning, all was well, but we saw no one at checkout, which was odd. There is no reception, no entry desk, and there was no one around. We found out later that we had to pay upon arrival (thought Expedia payment had been made), so we had to pay over the phone. Again, not a...

“Great location, easy self check in. The whole place was clean and in good condition. Simple self service breakfast with good coffee. If there was one word of warning... if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. Someone in the next room was an impressive snorer and I didn't have any!”

“The views are excellent- Staff very welcoming and friendly. Rooms very comfortable but warning of some sloping ceilings! Amenities very good - good value for money. Breakfast very good. Good choice menu in the evening but disappointed that apple and blackberry pie not available for 4 nights of our stay! Dog friendly - which is great for dog owners but personally - I wasnt so happy re a couple with 2 big dogs being allowed into the dining room in the evening.”
