“An old building with historic interest situated in a town with many interesting old building which is well worth a walk around. The staff were friendly and helpful. Evening meals and Sunday carvery were tasty and specials were explained. A thing to note is that there is no lift so mobility needs to be good to walk up stairs which was not a problem for us. Enjoyed our stay here and will be back next year as still much more to explore in the ares”

“Lasanth the Chef was amazing, on his own when we checked in, but was so helpful and amiable. Quirky with its decoration but lovely. Great food too.”
