The internal appearance of the restaurant, breakfast room and lounge was very pleasing. Our room was small but adequate for a short stay. Bed linen and towels were immaculate. Negatives. Hotel supplied winter duvets which were much too warm for June. Both nights were therefore uncomfortably wam. We stayed a Sunday and Monday night and the restaurant...

“The Mansion House was a very pleasant place to spend our few days in South Wales. The hotel and grounds were kept beautifully and the views over the estuary are just stunning .Breakfasting and dining were of a high standard and from our experience of 5* hotels , deserving of their rating. Our room was very pleasant ,though a “proper”wardrobe would have been appreciated. “Plenty of Parking-Nice outside area to sit and have a drink. Executive Rooms have very large room and bathroom with jacuzzi bath & walk in Shower. No A/C,Fridge or Safe !! Room 17 located over the Lounge so quite noisy when Function on. Spa good but only a Plunge Pool plus Jacuzzi,Steam and Sauna facilities. Breakfast over priced.”

Accommodation was good but the bedside lamps didn’t work and toilet roll holder needs replacing.The food was excellent and restaurant is very well presented but the inner door from the conservatory closed with a loud bang that we could hear clearly from our room.”

“The Hotel has parking first come first serve very Narrow drive through alley. Does not have a dessert menu this is done by staff telling you whats on the menu it also does not have a wine list this is very limited. ”
