“The hotel and its setting are a great escape. The beautiful gardens make for an enjoyable stroll down to the mostly private beach. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated, and the beds very comfortable. We were allocated a room that was an upgrade from what we had booked, and even with it being a Ground Floor room it still had its own seating area (two in fact!). “3rd time staying here - love the house and position is great to explore the lizard. Damp was really bad this year - walls were wet and mouldy in places and kitchen cupboards very musty - cleaners were great coming out and cleaning up some of the mould. Probably damp build up if it had been shut up for a while. But we always enjoy our stay - beds comfy and loads of room for our family and little dog ”
