“When we arrived the owner greeted us and showed us to a lovely room we had booked, we only stayed the one night en route to our holiday destination and found the room clean and very comfortable . we were given lots of local information to find a bistro in the local town of Aunay sur Odon. The breakfast was well received and presented in a pleasant manner by Thom who was charming . we will have to come again next year and well worth a visit especially for a qiuck over night and as in our case...

“Small rooms…little room for two suitcases. Basic but adequate breakfast. Easy location…easier to drive to town center. Good for night before WWII beaches. AC not very strong. Noise could be heard from outside hotel (guests watch TV, horses at vet clinic) and inside (kids on a field trip enjoying the next room over!) Adequate, but nothing special.”

“Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas, pero está limpio y el servicio es agradable. Por el precio es una gran opción, sobre todo porque tiene estacionamiento y el check in puede hacerse las 24hrs ya que todo alrededor a partir de las 7pm está cerrado y sin gente. ”

“First of all Bayeaux is one of the most charming towns we visited in France. The location of the Declic hotel is the best in town. You are across the street from the weekly massive market. The market was better than most I've seen in big cities--fresh fish, freshly baked bread, fruit and vegetables galore, tons of cooked food, cheese, meats and lots of hot prepared food too. “A quiet, well-being, professional, horse loving retreat from the demands of our busy life around London. The views, room, healthy locally sourced meals and care in presentation are a delight. “No es un cuatro estrellas ni de lejos. La casa es preciosa, pero en general está sin mantenimiento, hace mucho calor en las habitaciones (no hay ventiladores/aire acondicionado), baño no adaptado, muy malo para personas con movilidad reducida.. en general una decepción muy grande”
