Excellent location with all rooms having an ocean view. Rooms 6-9 are especially nice, they are king rooms on the second floor with private balconies. They're in the only two story building. If we're ever in Mendocino again, which is a great little town, we will stay here. We spent four nights.

Room was very clean with sliding doors looking out onto the ocean. Hummingbirds on our patio, really great continental breakfast and nice staff. The front desk attendant directed us to a beautiful beach directly across from the lodge.

This property has been recently renovated and is clean and comfortable. Although there isn't much of a view, you still can see a bit of the ocean from most rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. Floors can get pretty cold in the bathrooms, as there's no heat in there. But the overall experience was pleasant.
