The location could not be better!! The guest house looks out on to the plaza where the Tram 28 stops. It is a busy place but our interior courtyard room was peaceful and quiet. Look no further if Alfama is your desired location. We walked from our cruise ship and took a taxi to the airport a few days later. Both the walk and the taxi trip took less than 20 min. The staff was VERY helpful. The Fado dinner they recommended was spectacular and a great value. When our Uber was over 45 min late, the staff got us a taxi in 5 min. I will definitely stay there again!

I was happy I checked and saw that the reception closes at 10pm and asked for late check in help. They sent detailed instructions that were great. We did encounter a young Chinese man who was panicking when he got there because he apparently did not know about the 10pm closing. It would be good if they reached out to people to let them know. We were able to help him so it worked out but otherwise he was on the street with no idea of what to do. The room was good, spare, but clean. Great location. Great price. Would stay again for sure. Wasn’t sure of the nice bottle of water was free or not so didn’t use it. Maybe let people know. I was afraid of some high charge if we drank it. Anyhow, liked the place, loved the location. Wished we could have opened the window but otherwise it was great.

We had a wonderful stay in Lisbon. We arrived early and Diogo was very accommodating and kept us updated on the status of the room so we could check-in before our football match. The room was very comfortable and clean. Plus a very good temperature. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
