After being screwed over by the first hotel I arrived at which I had a reservation for at 1130 PM, this hotel was able to get me a room for my entire trip. The hotel was clean. It was in good area, right off the highway. Plenty of stores and restaurants around. The room was clean, but could use a little TLC. The door was about to fall off the hinges, the air conditioner leaked, and the bathroom door basically ate the toilet when open. But it was a place to sleep at night that was clean and cozy so that's all that mattered. I would stay here again if I come back to the area. Staff was friendly too.

Disappointed. Check in was uneventful.. Room was under furnished-only one chair (a swivel chair at desk. There were no chairs for sitting or lounging. The room was in need of a lot of maintenance. Stains on wall, cove molding pulled away from wall in Bathroom. Bathroom was very small. There were stains on floor in bathtub. TV was not working when we checked in. Staff fixed tv by “resetting TV channels, and giving us a new remote. I could not recommend this motel to anyone..

Our room was prepaid, so no refund! The bed sheets appeared to have been changed, so we decided we could CAMP there for one night. However camping outdoors would have felt cleaner! It was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but the stink in the room was bad. It smelled like bad body odor and cigarette smoke mixed. There was dried food splattered on the wall over the desk. There was some unknown dark substance spattered on the bathroom wall. The inside of the bathroom door was very dirty and the door had cracked off laminate on both sides along the bottom. The coffee maker was disgusting and looked like it had never been wiped off. The bathtub had sand on the bottom, We went to the breakfast bar to get coffee. There wasn’t an attendant on duty, so nothing was being cleaned and food wasn’t being refilled. Someone had spilled grits all over the coffee machine. Only one slice of bread, a couple yogurts. We have stayed here in the past on our way to the beach and found it clean and convenient. It sure has gone downhill in a very bad way since the last time we stayed here. I don’t know how it is getting a good rating? Trust this review and find somewhere else to stay!

The staff at the desk are nice I stay here a lot I’ve never seen the microwave so nasty and the floor wasn’t black. I couldn’t tell the last time they had mopped that thing. The sheets were clean, but the room has not been cleaned.
