This is a charming historic inn. The restaurant and bar have been recently renovated and are very nice. It is updated without losing its charm. The rooms have classic cherry furniture. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. The bath is spacious and functional. Berea is a charming small college town with a special history. There are several good restaurants and local craft shops nearby. If you enjoy visiting quaint, historic towns, Berea and Boone Tavern should be on your list.

This hotel has a lot of character! I love that they still use brass room keys. The rooms have wooden floors that creak just a little when you walk through the room, and it reminds me of my grandma's house in the best way possible. The craft-made wooden beds also give you a warm feeling of being "home". The rooms and the hotel itself are well maintained and very clean. The staff are kind and helpful. It's close to shopping, dining, snacks, and other things in the area. I always enjoy my stay at Boone Tavern when I come to Berea.
