We loved Alden Villa from the moment we arrived. Harvey gave us a warm greeting and gave us a mini tour despite the late hour of our arrival. He is so kind and welcoming. The entire mansion is immaculate and beautifully restored. Our room was perfect...very clean, the bed was so comfortable, air conditioning kept the temperature just right, and the shower had great water pressure. When we got up in the morning we went down to Alden Press Cafe where we were again greeted warmly and introduced to some of the locals. We had the included breakfast at Alden Press Cafe. The food and service were great! The people were so kind. We arrived to the cafe as strangers ad left feeling like we made a few friends. Our stay was nothing short of amazing! Thanks to Harvey and the magic of Alden Villa for making our weekend getaway one to remember! I would highly recommend Alden Villa to anyone looking for a bed and breakfast with rich history, a great atmosphere, and wonderful people to help you navigate your stay.

It was a very good experience. I was the first person to stay in their finest room housing the most beautiful and well-appointed antique twin bed I've ever seen along with several complementing antique furniture pieces, a chandelier light and a granite floor bathroom with a large walk-in shower. My room was secure with a digital combo lock and individually climate-controlled to my choosing. Breakfast or lunch on Saturday is included in the room price - anything on the menu and provided by the kitchen staff. The Alden Press Deluxe was delicious and filling. Unfortunately, the kitchen was closed on Sunday. There's a full covered outdoor patio with a bar. The owner and staff were congenial with all the residents and walk-ins. The beautiful refurbished mansion is a sight to behold, internally honoring the historical memory of the gilded age with a majestic & contemporary exterior. It's within a mile of the Cornwall Furnace, 3 miles from Mt Gretna, 5 miles from Iron Valley Golf Course, 7 miles from Lebanon and walking distance from a rail trail to walk or bike all the way through Mt Gretna to Colebrook.

If you like history, this place is the place to stay in Cornwall. Restoration of the place is amazing. Hopefully in the future, the full breakfast will be available every day (Currently Thursday, Friday, Saturday).
