We husband, daughter and I stumbled upon the gem and were so happy we did! We stayed for one night and really enjoyed ourselves. It was clean and located in a walkable area close to food and shops. The heated pool and roof top terrace for drinking coffee in the morning were highlights, and of course we loved that it’s only a few minute walk to the beach! The Inn keepers were nice and accommodating. We would definitely return!

The Lamplight, as always, was spotless and well-maintained. The location can’t be beat- a block from the beach and super close to restaurants, shops and bars. My only wish is that each room would be supplied with its own Keurig. One of the treats of staying in a motel is waking up and having a coffee in your bedroom before you even get dressed. While coffee is available at the motel, I’d be happier not having to go outside and sometimes downstairs to get my morning caffeine fix!

Absolutely loved staying here for the first time and will definitely be back! The property was very clean and nicely maintained. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The area around the motel was gorgeous. The property was only a block away from the beach on both sides and within walking distance. Highly recommend staying here!

Very clean, friendly staff. One block from the beach. It was very quiet but I must add that we were there off season. Our door knob was very loose and the staff came immediately to fix it. Loved the large walk in showers and the beds were very comfortable. Definitely will be back.

Pretty nice place, good location. I had a room that shared an adjoining door with the room next. Sadly the door was paper thin and everything from the adjoining room could be heard clearly. Not ideal especially when you don’t know the neighbor’s and one is a snorer.

Very quaint motel at the shore. Really not anything I disliked. My only two recommendations are 1) the desk should be staffed 24/7 for safety and security and 2) sheer curtains should be hung as well as the heavy curtains so that light can come in the window without exposing the guest and their belongings to all passerby’s. That is not a huge expense to the property owner so the guests could have another layer of safety and security.
