⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay! The check in was super easy and quick with the self check in machine. The staff was friendly and attentive, the room was clean and comfortable, and the overall experience was great. The restaurants at the hotel had excellent food and the service too and with the Rio rewards you get special discounts. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The pool was open until 10pm with a DJ, which was great for tiring out the kids. Loved the huge room with pull out sofa. I want the same shower in my house. Only downside was the casino was smokier than some other casinos.

It was overall a good hotel if you’re looking for an affordable stay. My shower head was broken, and our room didn’t have a TV remote. The staff were pretty unresponsive but other than that we enjoyed our stay, and the pool was great!

The rooms have been updated and are just fine. The beds seemed comfy enough. I did not like how there wasn’t a refrigerator in our room. Also, the entire casino seemed kind of dead, especially over by Smash Burger towards the parking garage. The cost/value was definitely there and I’d stay again. Love the free parking. That’s a plus.

The overall stay was good the room size was excellent, however the wait times for valet and bell men on the 4th of July weekend was terrible they’re in severe need of more help with staff, and the only good restaurant worth it was Taco Del Rio they were absolutely amazing from the food to the staff highly recommend.

I enjoyed my stay. The room layout was one of my favorite features. It felt spacious, well thought out, and comfortable for relaxing. The property itself was clean and well maintained, which made the experience even more better. The check in was efficient. There was a DJ in the lobby that made the short wait fun. The renovated shower was decent and clearly updated, but it could benefit from a better shower head and more modern fixtures to fully match the refreshed look of the bathroom. Overall, my stay went smoothly. I had a positive experience. I would definitely be staying here again.

The hotel was fine for a quick trip. The room was perfect for my family of 3 - clean and had what we needed. No fridge in the room which was disappointing but we made do. The Luckley Tavern inside the Rio was delicious - I recommend dinner there one night. For breakfast we tried The Kitchen Table - it was fine and basic. Good enough for breakfast. Overall, the Rio was fine to stay at for a quick trip. Gets the job done.
