“Motel in easy walking distance to town centre. The room was very hot, so had our windows open and seagulls were screaming from 2am The room was clean plenty of hot water. Bed too soft for our liking so didn’t sleep well. Our door didn’t seem to fit right so had to slam it shut and heard a few more being slammed.”

“The Kings Head is a nice quaint hotel/ pub in Masham. However there were a few issues with the property. There were a few cobwebs in our room and I don’t think that is acceptable, especially in a family room or any other tbh. However, the thing that irked me the most was that when we arrived at the hotel we were advised that we could only go for dinner at 8pm as 7 and 7.30 were full. This was ok for us but when we arrived at the restaurant at 8pm we stood for some time and were ignored. When...

“Hicimos noche de camino a Edimburgo. La habitación era espaciosa, cómoda y limpia. El alojamiento era una casa antigua pero reformada y con encanto. El personal muy amable y nos ayudó en todo lo que pudo. No teníamos adaptador de corriente y nos prestaron uno. La comida era buena y tenian una bonita terraza para tomar cerveza”

“Arrival was easy, nobody manning reception but was not a problem, key left on the side clearly labelled and clear instructions etc. Room clean and well presented, good amenities, including tea, coffee, fresh milk etc. Room not perfectly blackout with some streetlight coming in round the side of the curtains, and a faint green light from the fire exit sign, not something that bothers me as I sleep with my eyes closed, but some day dreamers might want a blindfold. We had an evening meal in the bar area which was very good with generous portions and we were served by a lovely young lady who was very friendly and helpful. “On arrival could have done with better signage as to where to park as we ended up parking at Forbidden Corner. Also not easy to find Reception and when we did find there was no-one there for 10 mins. Room nice, dressing gown and slippers nice touch. Had evening meal in the bar which was ok and staff were attentive. Meals on the Sunday finished at 5 and bar closed which was inconvenient. We were informed no staff on site again until Wed. We couldn’t boil kettle Mon morning as electric went off...
