We rate Green Gable 10/10! It was a beautiful place to stay! It was top notch! Friendly and welcoming staff, room was very clean and comfortable, the landscaping was beautiful with all the flowers and areas to sit outside to enjoy that overlooks the Root River. Lanesboro had many nice shops and restaurants, a very historic town! We enjoyed spending 2 days on the bike trail We will be planning a trip back!

Very nice clean hotel. It’s a couple blocks away from downtown area and away from the noise. The owner is very friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend it and would stay there again!

The scenery was exquisite. Very welcoming area, very decent rooms. The only complaint I have would be the parking space. It’s kind of difficult to find a parking spot when you’re the last one to check in at midnight. Lol. Plans resulted in wanting to stay another night, but it was full immediately. Would stay again if it had been possible!

This was a great choice for me- clean, safe, spacious and quiet. Very comfortable and I found a beautiful spot with a bench near the river to relax. I would highly recommend Green Gables for a stay in Lanesboro.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Proprietor’s Suite (which is a 1 bedroom house from 1929). Nicely appointed and very clean. However, the bedding was frankly horrible. Synthetic materials and even plastic covered pillows. Very low cheap quality for what otherwise was a lovely place.

The property was stellar with well groomed gardens all around, grass cut and trimming done around everything. The staff was very helpful and accommodating to all our needs. Very nice little Inn. The room we had was very spacious. It had a microwave, coffee pot and mini fridge. It had a nice little kitchen area with a sink, which was very helpful. It was quiet and subdued. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Green Gables Inn!

First off, the place was immaculately cleaned. Impressively so. Very friendly and helpful staff, great location just up the road a piece from the main downtown Lanesboro area in a very quiet corner right off of the Root River. I liked that it was a few blocks away from the main drag there, it helped to keep quiet when you want quiet. I would definitely stay in Lanesboro again, and specifically at Green Gables Inn. We are already thinking about bringing the kids soon.
