“When I arrived at night I was told that my payment had been rejected (even though I hadn't received any notice of this) and that if I wanted a room I would have to pay $353 (the room rate quoted was 126€) in cash or with another card.
Since I didn't want to be extorted I left and had to find another hotel in rural PA to spend the night. As a woman travelling alone this was not a pleasant experience and I believe hotels.com should remove this property from their listings for this unethical...

“Great place all around. Our third visit. My only complaint is the trend for so many places including this one where there is no direct interaction with a front desk. Only option is contact by email. I’m an older guy and I prefer face to face. But overall a real nice place to stay.
