Very good value. Great place to stay while in Truckee. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. Breakfast was nice and the dining area was inviting and clean. Would stay here again!

Enjoyed my stay at Donner Lake Lodge. They were great at giving me a top floor room as requested. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely staying there again.

Room was very nice and clean. Great to have refrigerator & microwave in room. Breakfast was convenient with nice options. Scrambled eggs were fair…. Don’t really like the powdered version but bacon on was very good & crispy and hot chocolate was excellent. Great place to stay at very reasonable price.

Overall it was an okay place to sleep. Staff was friendly and kind. Room was outdated for the price, the mini fridge was loud and kept me up all night, the bathroom door didn't close all the way and we asked for new sheets because it looked like we're stains on ours. Probably would pay a little more for a nicer hotel.

You could see through the door latch and easily slide a card between the door and the latch, so this means you rely on deadbolt and safety clasp. However, the safety clasp mount was so loose that you could probably lean on the door to break it free. The rest of the place was good. AC worked well and wasn't too loud. Breakfast was solid. and 24/7 coffee in the lobby is awesome.

Fantastic place to stay and make the 30 minute drive to Reno. Quality rooms and amenities. Downtown Truckee easy to get to without getting back on the highway. Plenty of places to eat and hang out.
