Great location & accommodations for the price. Parking was helpful & the inn was within walking distance to several restaurants/the lake as parking in town is difficult. The room was clean and cozy. Ice, coffee and toiletries were available which was nice when traveling light. The view from my 6th floor room was amazing of the lake! Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Great location, awesome staff! They gave us an early check in and a great room with a view. Just wish we knew the pool had recently been filled in. But would stay here again for sure!

Great location. Good for a short stay, couple of nights. Microwave and fridge in room is a plus, but no AC could be a deal breaker for many. I call this glamping. Parking is tight, spots are small.

Management and staff were very helpful, respectful and good communication before and during our stay. Great customer service however, as many have said, the property is very run down. The carpet smelled like dogs and feet and the beds and pillows were awful. But, you can't beat the location and the views from our room were spectacular. There was also plenty of hot water. We were also given an early check-in which was super helpful. But all of that can't make up for rooms. My kids get nostalgic for hotel rooms so we'll likely stay again if we're staying in Tahoe City. Having a dependable staff goes a long way when away from home. Thanks.

We have stayed here several times and the property is really tired. The building needs a refresh, the stairs need work, there is no air conditioning so the room was uncomfortable in the evening and the breakfast is gone. It's really convenient to the restaurants and Common Beach which is the main thing going for the hotel.

The location and view of the lake from the 7th floor was great. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was very dissapointing that the level of maintenance was very poor. The room was clean however the curtains were frayed, the wall paper was peeling in many places and the toilet rocked when used. The water pressure in the shower was low and made it difficult to wash the soap out of my hair. I hope they are planning some renovations since it would be a great place to stay otherwise.
