The property is 4 min driving to lake placid center. Close to restaurants. The hallway is dark and looks dirty. The room is good size, but feels damp. There is no coffee machine in the room.

Always a good choice. The perk is that you have a pool and access to hot tub. After a long hike just what you need. I came late and they left the keys, they were very friendly. I always choose this one.

This is a very low end place to stay, however, I do not think that is a bad thing, it depends on your purpose. Me and a couple of friends were going on a hike, and this motel style Inn was perfect. I had my car directly next to the room that I was staying at for easy access to all my things. If you wanna stay at a good quality hotel for its amenities, do not come here. If you want convenience at a cheap price, this is the best place to be.
