We stayed at Elms Cottage and had a wonderful time! The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The weather was perfect, and we had so much fun spending time on the lake. We enjoyed both the rowboats and paddle boats, which made our stay even more relaxing. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, making it a great place to unwind. Another big plus was the convenience—Stewart’s Shops and Cumberland Farms are both within walking distance, making it easy to pick up anything we needed. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend Elms Cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!

We were treated like royalty here at the Elms. The owner, Chandler and his staff, go above and beyond. What a beautiful escape. We will most definitely return.

Lovely area, great location I just wish I had expectations of glamping more than a boutique cottage. When I addressed a few issues the owner was very accommodating and helped out ASAP. We also left our tablet and they found it and sent it back. I would say the cottages are more on the rustic side.

Staff was extremely courteous, as were other guests. Room was spotless on arrival - remotes for TV and cable in ziplock bags to help ensure they stayed sanitized (never even touched the bags). For the bonus, no-touch flushing toilet. The shower surround could use a little work, but it there didn't seem to be even any (immediate) risk of 'real' issues.

We only stayed one night but will be back next year for a longer stay! There were several kayaks, canoes, boats and paddle boats with everything needed to go out and enjoy the water. There was a private beach, which was nice and sandy. The cabin we stayed at was nice and has had some recent work done. I think it could have probably used a deep clean because there was some mold starting in one of the air conditioners and dust on the box fan upstairs but, hey, it’s a cabin.. not a luxury suit at a hotel. It was super nice to have a small convenient store on the other side of the fence through the “short cut” that we could run to and grab snacks and various things. It’s like two different “worlds” with the fence separating everything. There is the serene lake where it’s peaceful and quiet and on the other side it was a small town with some stores and light traffic. We didn’t use the fire ring but I saw several people going that and It looked like fun and there were nice chairs all ready for a night around the fire. There were also restaurants in walking distance. There is no cell service but the WiFi was pretty good and we had no trouble. We ate at Rocco’s pizza which I would recommend but I would have it delivered because there was no ac in the building. Hadley’s general store was a two minute drive and totally worth checking out and eating at. Breakfast there was amazing and I’m sure lunch and dinner are too! We will absolutely be back!
