This place is awesome, we stayed in the Perch, it was perfect, peaceful, we slept great. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, stayed 2 nights, met some wonderful people there. The owners are great. It was the perfect weekend getaway. We've been visiting Chimney Rock for over 60 years. They're starting to get everything back to normal, they're working so hard. Go visit and help support all the wonderful businesses. Hurricane Helene hit them hard almost 2 years ago, go show them some Love!

Everything was amazing! My fiancé and I came for Valentines and they had Chocolate Covered Strawberries and roses for us upon arrival. Very clean, fully stocked with all the essentials we needed, jacuzzi was perfect, the views from our wrap around porch facing the mountains were beautiful! Jody and Shaun were amazing hosts and it was so quiet and peaceful. Definitely recommend and will be back.

The Shaded Crest is such a serene and lovely spot. Our cottage was huge with so many thoughtful amenities. The rain shower was great, the bed was really comfortable and the decor was spot on! Not to mention nice towels and beautiful bedding. The outdoor space is so pretty and well laid out. Plenty of comfortable seating, a fire pit and large pool. This would be the perfect spot for a family gathering, small wedding or just a couple looking for some quiet time! Located close enough to Lake Lure for activities but nestled in privacy. BTW Lake Lure is open! The owners were on site and friendly. Highly recommend!

Our stay at this beautiful mountain retreat was everything we hoped for and more. The Perch cabin was spotless, cozy, and incredibly well-equipped – from a fully stocked kitchen to plush bedding and thoughtful touches throughout. The location strikes the perfect balance: tucked away enough to feel secluded and peaceful, yet still close to hiking trails, scenic overlooks, and charming local spots. We loved unwinding by the pool after a day of exploring. Our host was exceptional – responsive, welcoming, and full of great local recommendations. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of love into making this a truly special place. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway to reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort, look no further. We loved staying at this property! The roost is handicap assessed if needed. Quaint cabin with a private woodsy view along with a spacious deck! The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is big plus sit down seat in the shower! They provide all towels even pool towels! Not to mention the pool is was across from us! Very relaxing and quiet. The kitchen is set up for cooking, love the medium sized fridge. Lived how they have linen spray and antibacterial spray in glass bottles! I use that gone and love the whole vibe and smell! Overall great place to stay! We will be back.

What can I say? Perfect. Not a singular complaint. The hosts were amazing. The cabin was exceptional, with a private balcony, amazing tub, comfortable bed, high-quality bedding and furnishings. Our cabin had a kitchen with everything we would need. The property was exquisite and the saltwater pool and hottub were highlights. Firepit and grill station were clean and inviting. There was very little reason to leave the property (we did for great local food and sights). The hosts are very accommodating, friendly, and available. We are absolutely going back. 10/10. Go. This is the place you're looking for near Lake Lure.

We only stayed one night but wish we had booked more. Jody & Shaun were super hosts and mad us feel at home. Very peaceful and the pool was so welcoming and right opposite our cabin which was the roost. Highly recommended and we will return next time we in the States.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Beds were super comfortable and the walk in rain shower was awesome. The owners have a wonderful eye for decor. I appreciated the attention to even the tiniest detail.
