Overall the stay was good, we enjoyed its location right next to Lake George, but the room was just ok as it was not in the main building but rather in a small motel style building next door. Otherwise we loved everything, the views, the restaurant, outdoor pool, bar, seating area.

View was beautiful from the lakeside of resort. The pool was beautiful. Room was okay, we weren’t in the main lodge so it felt like a cheap motel but the price we paid was not cheap. No complimentary coffee for guest was also disappointing.

The grounds were beautiful. The 1 st room Was really outdated and had issues with door and electrical. Requested another room. The second one was ok. Could use updating. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. Found plastic fork sticking out from under the dresser. The staff was friendly enough.

I love the fact that you could fill up water bottles for free in the lobby. Many hotels charge you five dollars for a small bottle of water. This was a really nice feature. We also enjoyed the pool and the hot tub.

This hotel is within walking distance of almost every place we wanted to visit -Fort William Henry, Steamboat cruises, MiniPutt, beautiful park and playground, shops, and restaurants. There were lots of places to sit and gaze at Lake George - some sunny, some shady, and some protected from rain.

Cleanliness of the hotel could be a lot better. There was dust and hair all over the back of the head board and counter tops. You could really see it all when the sun was shining. Definitely isn’t dusted/wiped down between guests. Service was quick and great every time at the lookout cafe and our Jamaican server (I wish I remembered his name!!) was amazing at lakeside. The grounds workers keep everything absolutely impeccable!!!!! We raved over their work all week. View 100000/10 Would stay here again - after trying out a few of the other locations in the village.
