The 1878 restaurant was fantastic! Our room was clean and the rockers on the patio was a nice touch. The grounds were very well cared for and maintained. Check-in and out was seamless.

Everything was clean and updated. There were so many amenities and things to do . The body wash and shampoo they provided was top notch. The room coffee was good. I especially enjoyed siting out on patio , drinking coffee and looking at the lake.

The location of the hotel is beautiful. We were disappointed that our room seemed to be missing furniture. Neither side of our king bed had a nightstand, and there was a wide open space where a kitchen table should have been. The bathtub would not plug, and the boxspring mattress was uncomfortable.

The only staff member who provided hospitality was Marina in the 1878 restaurant. Other than that, the staff acted as if it was a burden for them to be working. No one looked happy to be there. The food at 1878 Restaurant was awesome. The resort is run down. Not clean, needing repair, bad smells, chipped paint, and stains. They bill you as if it's a 5 diamond hotel but feels like a run down motel. The landscaping seemed like it was done by someone who cares. Never again will we stay there.

Beautiful yet comfortable property. The most friendly, helpful and efficient front desk staff! Enjoyed the restaurants (lake or pool view) and the most well stocked gift shop ever! Golfed at Majestic Oaks on the property and it is beautiful. All the staff at the clubhouse were friendly and helpful too. Shoutout to the beverage cart gal Chloe. She is also friendly and efficient and fun to talk to.

When he first pulled in the resort is so big and the entrance is beautiful I was stunned at how many buildings and how much land was this resort had. Checking in was very easy and the staff are also so friendly. I would definitely come back here again. I would just definitely bring bug spray next time. The pool is very nice and they have pool service for the restaurant so you can spend all day at the pool. Overall, I would say that this resort was a 10 out of 10 experience.

This place was great for my family of five - kids 8, 12, 18. Lots of options to keep everyone busy! The arcade was fun and pools were nice! 1878 was a FANTASTIC! Very good food and drinks and we had a party of 9 including 4 kids and it was very enjoyable. The lookout for lunch was also very good and accommodating. During the evening after 10 at the lookout has live music or karaoke on the weekend and it was a great time - very attentive bartenders. I would absolutely recommend a wedding here it was beautiful by the lake for the weddings!
