“Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. “Overall great place to stay-clean, comfortable and great location. One complaint-nothing was stocked like other homes/apartments we have stayed. We had to buy garbage bags, soap, salt and pepper, even toilet paper, etc. morning was stocked. Amazing amount of dishes/cookware in the kitchen, but that was it. I wish we would have known, we could have packed some of this from home. Other than that, good stay!”

“A nice lodge in a lovely part of the park, very quiet. The lodge was well equipped and comfortable. The WiFi was patchy but that was explained before booking and us outside if owners control. The TV aerial signal was intermittent in the lounge but was OK in the bedroom.”
