Great location within a short walk to the train station. Very kind and helpful staff. Only thing that I wasn’t expecting was that there is no air conditioning, and the room was very hot and the fan in the room was noisy. Other than that, the room was comfortable.

Good night stay in this hotel close to the action. Older place with nice staff, good breakfast for 10 euros. The mattress was not very comfortable and the wifi accessible only in the common places. Reasonable price, was really ok.

I recently stayed in this hotel for four nights. The location is superb, I arrived by train, as it is less than five minutes walk from station, and less than five minutes walk to the town which is full of great bars and restaurants and many interesting buildings to look at. The staff are very friendly, mostly English speaking. The room was very comfortable, and my balcony view was some trees. The optional breakfast was very good value. The bathroom was clean and practical. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting La Rochelle.
