I wish there were wash clothes in the bathroom; it was just towels; bathroom was nice though. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious; having the full kitchen was a nice feature. The ocean view was amazing with the balcony. The staff was so nice and helpful.

Overall, we had a great stay. The location was excellent, and the beach access was very convenient. The only disappointment was that we booked an oceanfront room, but the view was partially blocked by a building. Other than that, everything was wonderful, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Room was beautiful and views of the ocean/beach were amazing. Pool was nice, but difficult to get to due to construction. Not a big deal for us, but would be for someone with mobility issues. Important note: they don't come clean your room during your stay unless you request it. Also, the coffee shop in the lobby is great!

I wish I was informed of the major remodeling and construction going on in this hotel when I made the reservation. Great location but the jackhammering that started at 7am on Monday really ruined the stay. Rooms were nice but again the noise made us get up and leave earlier than we wanted. I will say this, the coffee shop next the lobby… Excellent! Great coffee and people working there!

Perfect location right in front of the ocean and with easy access to shops and restaurants within walking distance! The room was spotless and large, the bed was super-comfy with a variety of different types of pillows to choose from, and the balcony view was breathtaking. Friendly, attentive staff and incredible access to the beach. The coffee and smoothies at the shop downstairs were delish. I can't wait to return! I highly recommend La Jolla Cove Hotel to anyone!

The front desk ladies were very accommodating to our needs and inquiries. They were helpful and so nice. The room was decent, it’s not yet renovated and the appliances and fridge were old but it was clean. Beach front and very accessible.

First, you better be a mountain climber if you want to stay at this hotel because the stairs are ridiculous. Second, they had a wedding going the night we stayed there and the music was so loud that it felt like we were at concert. The entire reason we stayed there was to have a nice quiet night watching the sunset from our room. However, instead we got to listen to the incredibly loud wedding and rap music with the N word used about every 5 seconds. I spoke with the manager about it the noise and he said they have weddings there every night of the week and he looked at me like "so what" I can't do anything for you. So my review is SAVE YOUR MONEY and stay somewhere else with an elevator and no loud music blaring until 10 p.m. I will never stay at this hotel and would never recommend it for anyone.
