The hotel is in a great location and conveniently close to many popular areas. Unfortunately, due to the weather during our stay, we were unable to see the volcano, but the view would likely be excellent under better conditions. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was good. Parking was available, which was convenient. The hotel also offers trips and excursions to popular nearby attractions, which adds to the overall experience.

I have to say Costa Rica on a whole is a very clean country, the hotel was the same . Very clean and helpful and pleasant staff. We only got breakfast, but the food was good and always on time. There’s no night life at the hotel or around the area and shop closes 10pm latest . A very quiet stay and more sounds of wildlife and nature . Saw many types of pretty birds at the compound and great view of the volcano.

Hotel is really in a good area. We rent a car so driving out to the attractions weren’t too far from us at all. There are 6 pools/hot tubs to dip in and my son loves them all. My cleaning lady is so nice she made the elephant towel for us and she cleaned the room so well. The hotel is under renovation so some noise woke us up in the morning most of the time but overall we are happy with them. If we come back to La Fortuna in the future, we will definitely stay with them again.
