We loved our stay here! The location was perfect. Tucked away on a quiet street that’s walking distance to all the food and shops. The room was bigger than most we’ve stayed in Japan. And the soaking tubs were amazing.

We loved our stay at nol kyoto sanjo. Location is very convenient - easily walkable to the markets and local restaurants and shops. Rooms were incredibly spacious, clean, felt like home away from home. We used the in-room hinoki bath tub every night and it was the perfect body reset after long days of exploring. Staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend booking!

Absolutely beautiful hotel right in the center of everywhere you want to be in Kyoto. We loved the stunning lobby and rooms and how quiet / pretty the area around the hotel was. Yet it was also just a short walk to all the best bars, restaurants, and attractions. The staff was very kind and made us feel comfortable. The free coffee in the morning and sake bar at night were amazing touches that we loved using each day. The room was so comfortable and the washer and dryer in the room were incredibly handy. We really appreciated the daily room cleaning as well. Absolutely would stay here again!

This was my second stay at this location. It is just steps from the covered shopping areas and Nishiki Market. The hotel itself is very quiet and serene and boasts an interior courtyard with a tree growing in a shallow pool. Coffee and sake are complimentary in the lobby and the rooms feature traditional style furnishings, including a Hiba wood soaking tub. The showers are fantastic and having a laundry machine, fridge and microwave in each room is a welcome bonus. I really enjoy this hotel.
