Central location. Just a few blocks form the newly opened planet land Biovortex. Rooms were very spacious and the breakfast buffet, although not free had the biggest variety of different food options. It was well worth it.

The room was not as clean as expected of Japanese standards. It is, however, very comfortable, being spacious and well provided with everything travellers need. The shower is also sufficiently hot and strong. Breakfast provided offered a great variety of food, in particular special local food with clear descriptions to give foreign visitors a taste of Kyoto food. This arrangement is really thoughtful. Service standards of hotel staff was exceptionally high, making you feel really welcome. Would highly recommend this hotel to friends visiting Kyoto.
