A fantastic location and brilliant value for $ We only used this room till 7 pm as we had a very late flight and needed a place to store bags have shower and a nap before an overnight flight Its great value for $ and has all you need. Onl7 $75 per night for 4 people. the shops in little narrower streets are great and its an easy walk to Kuta beach and beach walk Its more like an upmarket hostel or 3 star the shower is a little cluster phobic and there are 2 of them in the room we had that had bunk beads and a big bed and a swing parking to drop and pick up very good at property easy for taxi to park the reception staff English not amazing but they are very nice and helpful. the offered to book transfer taxi for me after i reserved. but then when i asked closer to day they said they don't offer such help but then again i dont know if they understood what am asking as it was by phone before i had checked in. Has a nice roof top and a pool (did not use pool) and has nice decor

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cara Cara Inn. With the option for breakfast, a beautiful pool and great relaxing spaces, walking distance to the beach and incredibly hospitable staff, I would highly recommend this place!

The hotel is a very modern hotel, appears to have been recently renovated. We really enjoyed our stay at Cara Cara, it was clean, the staff were helpful, it's in a great location just off the main street so it's quiet but still has a shop across the road and also has a lot of amenities, restaurant, laundry, pool, bar. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was 'cheap and cheerful' which was fitting for the price. We only needed it for about 29 hours to sleep and rest in prior to heading to the airport. It was close to shopping and restaurants and not to far to Kuta Beach. It had the smallest bathroom I've ever seen, no room to dress and barely enough room to wipe yourself. The pool was too dirty to risk a swim and the restaurant, bar and laundry were out of action. But it did the job for what we needed and the staff were really lovely. A solid 3 stars.

Very disappointing stay. The hotel was old, worn down, and dirty. The room did not feel clean, and the overall maintenance was poor. At breakfast, I found lipstick stains on a coffee cup, which was unacceptable and raised concerns about hygiene. The towels were also dirty and looked as if they had not been properly washed.

Clean, cheap, convenient. Not perfect but at that price what is. Good breakfast, 4 blocks from the beach, funky/trendy. The team aren't very informative, and it's not very social. Also a great pool.

Cute rooms.

Cute rooms though walls are VERY thin. Staff —some were not particularly welcoming. Beware; treat like a rental… I’ve started taking videos, checkout (and when I remember check in). They would not let me leave until they’d checked the room, lying and saying it’s just in case I forgot something. I showed my video, which left them speechless. I smell gaslighting.

Cleanliness, service, noise need to be improved

The hostel is visually pleasing with many nice corners for photos, however the actual place definitely looks more weary than the photos. Breakfast was enjoyable! Service and enthusiasm from the staff was lacking - during my check-in, there was no welcome, the staff simply photocopied my passport (and forgot to return it to me), then passed me the door token without any explanation or introduction of the place, breakfast, communal spaces etc. Hostels are usually more welcoming and informative. I booked a 3 person private room and the room's cleanliness did not meet expectations. There was a very visible blood stain on my bedsheets, a stranger's strand of hair in my fresh towels, balls of dust in the corners just next to my double bed and the floor was not clean enough to be barefoot. The rooms have terrible sound insulation and you can hear any door that closes (mostly slamming) on the same floor. The worst part was that my room was at the back of the building, a few metres away from a school. In the morning starting from 7am, I can clearly hear children playing and screaming (until noon), teachers making announcements and the national anthem being sung. It was intolerable for a late sleeper like me, so I went to the front desk to complain and request a change of room, however the staff was unsympathetic and gave a blank face throughout before turning me down by saying the hostel was fully booked. I had to bear with this again the next morning as I stayed 2 nights.
