Beautiful facility, the front desk speak good English, 16mins walk to the main town center, Yubatake. The food was excellent! Many different onsen to use at the facility, some are private. The bed was a little firm for me, otherwise everything was perfect!

This was by far my greatest stay so far in japan. Amazing food, amazing building, amazing onsen! But westerners be wary, you will need to sacrifice some of your typical understanding of amenitys, theres no showers in the rooms, and very little english is spoken in this whole town. That being said i cant rate it less than 5 stars! If you come to this hotel, be prepared to eat (amazing) foods you never thought youd try, and immerse youself in the japanese culture. If you do not want to immerse yourself, this may not be the place for you.

少しだけ離れていましたが棚湯まで無料シャトルバスもあるし、ターミナルまでも無料で送っていただけて立地も問題ありませんでした。何よりスタッフの方々の対応がとても良くて、久しぶりに日本の宿に来たなあと感じられました。最近は外国資本のホテルも増え、観光客も増えていることもあってなかなか日本にいるのに求めている日本宿のおもてなしや滞在が減ってきていると感じておりました。このお宿はたまたまかもしれませんがスタッフもお客さんもほぼ日本人で(差別的な意味ではなく、日本を感じられて安心するというような意味です)、旅館に来たなあと感じられゆっくりできました。ご飯もすっごく美味しかったです。妹と伺ったのですが、もう草津行くならここでいいね、もう何泊かしたかったねと話していました。帰りのお見送りまで、すごく気持ちよかったです。また必ず伺います。素敵な休暇となりました。ありがとうございました。

のんびり過ごせました。 久しぶりに温泉に入って心も体もほぐれた感じ… お風呂が大きくて、たくさんあるのが魅力。混雑してないから、湯上がり後も遠慮なくのんびり髪も乾かせます。お風呂時間が大好きで大切な人は大満足できます。

お部屋の古さは感じましたが、大浴場や貸切露天風呂には大満足でした。 お夕飯ハーフビュッフェ、朝食のフルビュッフェ、いずれも美味しくいただきました。種類も多く、特に朝食の筑前煮は絶品でした。 夕食時のアルコール飲み放題もありがたかったです。 また是非訪問したいお宿です。

スタッフの対応は満足！だが…

スタッフの方（受付その他の皆様）の対応は素晴らしかったし、サービスも満足！そこだけ見たらまた行きたかった。 しかし、部屋に前利用者の使用済み浴衣があるなどしたため、清掃担当への不信が拭えず、部屋にあるコップ等は衛生面が気になり、使う事が出来ませんでした。 また、ティーパックが置かれていても電気ケトルが無い（案内のファイルには記載有）、置き時計が1時間ズレている、棚の引き出しが勝手に開くなど部屋には問題点が多かった。 清掃担当には、チェックリストを使いダブルチェックを行うなどしっかり指導をお願いします。 近くの居酒屋「遊月」はとても美味しくリーズナブルてお薦めです。
