I appreciate Boutique Bonaire for all of the adjustments they made to accommodate me. However, I think it is important to let anyone using the accommodation know they will need to bring a lot of things to make the stay worth it.
You will need to bring amenities such as soap, shampoo, and conditioner, or other things you would normally expect at hotels, especially boutique ones. You will also need adapters for your charging ports. Bring specific European chargers, because even with my adapter, I couldn't charge anything since their ports were round and mine were square.
I also could not use the internet at all. I tried so hard, but there is barely any service on the property...you will get maybe one to two bars at most. As a solo traveler, it was really frustrating having to use so much of my own data whenever I could find any service on the property. I only stayed one day, but I could imagine how frustrating it could be if you're staying more than one day at this property.
On top of that, you will have to figure out how to use their air conditioning; I was sweating profusely. I contacted the boutique directly about this, but nothing was really addressed. You will receive very slow and staggered communication from the company.
