4th time visiting this hotel- another lovely stay. Staff were wonderful, particularly the two female staff in the outdoor dining area at breakfast time, the housekeeping staff member who thoughtfully arranged our Son’s Pokémon soft toys on the pillows each day, and Juliano from the evening bar staff. Lovely room upgrade too. Thanks, we hope to return.

Our room service was not good, but it may be subjective. They have over 1000 rooms so maybe the person who is cleaning our rooms was not motivated. Food is awesome. Service is really nice and friendly to children.

The hotel is presented as 5* all inclusive, but the quality of services snd AI program is at the level of 4*+. Beach is relatively nice, but the most disturbing is a position of the hotel to the runway of the kos ´ airport. The aircrafts are flying over the hotel just few hundreds meters in a 4-5 time slots of 90 minutes per day starting at 7 or 8 am and ending 10 or 11 pm. I like aircrafts but after 7 days I was happy to move somewhere else. On the other hand, there are many pools with salty water which is better than classical pools with chlorinised water.

Wir sind rundum begeistert von unserem Aufenthalt und können das Hotel absolut weiterempfehlen! Unsere Suite war traumhaft groß und bot einen wunderschönen Ausblick. Auch das Essen im Hauptrestaurant sowie das griechische a la cart hat uns überzeugt: Die Auswahl ist hochwertig, abwechslungsreich und wirklich für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Das gesamte Personal ist ausgesprochen aufmerksam, herzlich und zuckersüß. Alle sind sehr freundlich und man merkt, dass die Mitarbeiter ihre Arbeit gerne machen. Auch die Reinigungsdamen waren immer sehr freundlich und haben sich wunderbar um unser Zimmer gekümmert. Die verschiedenen Barbereiche sind ebenfalls top und laden zum Verweilen ein. Die Poolbereiche sind gigantisch und trotz der Größe des Hotels angenehm wenig überlaufen. Auch der Strandbereich hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Allerdings ist uns aufgefallen, dass die Liegen am Strand bereits am Vormittag alle belegt sind, obwohl viele davon teilweise stundenlang ungenutzt bleiben. Einen kleinen Kritikpunkt haben wir allerdings: Die Musik in der Lobby ist abends teilweise sehr laut und vermittelt eher Club-Atmosphäre. Dadurch ist es etwas schwierig, dort gemütlich zu sitzen, etwas zu trinken und sich in Ruhe zu unterhalten. Etwas leisere Musik würde diesen schönen Bereich für uns noch angenehmer machen. Alles in allem ist es aber ein wirklich tolles Hotel, das wir jedem weiterempfehlen können. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und werden ganz sicher wiederkommen!

La struttura in se è bella, alla fine si potrebbe classificare come villaggio turistico. È All Inclusive, con incluso proprio tutto compresi alcolici ai pasti e cocktail nei vari bar sparsi nella struttura. Il cibo è appena discreto. Nel ristorante centrale a buffet, la cucina è prettamente internazionale/nord europea ed onestamente ci abbiamo mangiato poche volte in quanto non ci entusiasmava particolarmente. Ci sono poi diversi ristoranti a cui si accede tramite prenotazione in reception o web. Due per il pranzo (uno Greco e l’altro Mediterraneo) e due per la cena (Hamburgeria e ristorante Italiano). Li abbiamo provati tutti e a parte l’hamburgeria (devo dire buona) il restante propone sempre le stesse cose anche se tutto sommato discrete. Una nota decisamente negativa va al ristorante italiano che appunto di italiano non ha decisamente nulla a parte i nomi di alcuni piatti ma cucinati decisamente male e per nulla in linea con il piatto originale. Animazione presente e non invadente, con simpatici spettacoli serali. La pulizia non è esattamente in linea per una struttura da 5 stelle, poco accurata. C’è da sapere che l’intera struttura si trova sulla rotta di atterraggio dell’aeroporto di Kos e in alcuni momenti della giornata era un continuo passaggio di aerei che qualche fastidio lo dava. Una nota molto positiva è l’accoglienza e la disponibilità di tutto il personale, davvero ottima ci siamo trovati benissimo.

Porto Bello Royal is a lovely hotel. The room was clean. The food was delicious. The buffet included a large selection of fresh salads and fruit. The location and views were stunning. The staff were friendly and professional. The only thing that I would improve is to heat the swimming pools from the beginning of May.
