I cannot say enough about the food, service and hospitality shown by all staff after staying here for 3 nights. The food both at breakfast and dinner was perfect; the location to other towns in the vicinity is second to non. Highly recommended

The Inn was a friendly well run place with good food and staff, being near the Trainline to Chester/ Manchester was useful too. The only issue we found was the width of the bed, too narrow! A 4.5 foot bed is too narrow so our sleep was not too good.

Good size room with large comfortable bed. All except one window was painted shut which meant condensation and some mould on the bottom of the net curtains. It wouldn't stop me staying again but would be better if fixed. Good food the one night we ate there. Excellent to have the electric car chargepoint available for overnight charging.

Nice hotel and convenient

Room was very spacious and well equipped. I arrived a little late for food and even though the kitchen was closed they did offer to make sandwiches and chips for me which was a nice gesture. Would like to stay again as menu looked awesome.

We will be back.

Nice comfortable stay breaking up a long journey. Staff and locals were friendly and helpful. Had a great evening meal by the fire, a comfortable night and a good breakfast. Will definitely stay there again.

Very pleasant staff, nice food for evening meal and breakfast, reasonably priced evening menu (we had the fixed price menu). Room was large, felt cold when we arrived but that was due to the radiators being switched off. Once they were on the room warmed up very nicely and quickly. Room felt a little dated but nothing too bad, could do with a little fresh coat of paint. Our room (5) was also above the main bar area, think this might apply to all the rooms and we could hear the conversations quite clearly from below. So if you are a light sleeper and want to go to bed before closing time this might affect you. Overall, I was happy and would return for an overnight stay and food.

Lovely location have family live in Northwich so nice place to meet up. Came for a family occasion in Sale so didn't feel it was too far away from everyone and I prefer a country setting to stay in . Perfect for us .

Nicely kitted out and very spacious.

Nice staff, very friendly, room was veey spacious including the bathroom. We liked the decor, but the smell feom the bathroom was awful, definite needs addressing. Has ev charge points, nice location. Would stay again but smell is a bit off putting.

A very pleasant stay! Lovely large room and the bar and restaurant was great. Comfortable bed and good shower. They even made me food after the kitchen was closed. Only negative was the mini single use plastic shower gels and shampoos. Refillable soap and shampoo dispensers would make it perfect!
