The hotel has been completely renovated, and the rooms are very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The hotel is conveniently located right in the central portion of Kirkwall with most local attractions and restaurants a short walk away

The large well equipped room and modern bathroom were very good . The location of the hotel is very central and close to a free car park . The quality of the breakfast was disappointing compared to every other hotel we have used this year. Regular tea was in a pot on a hot plate next to the coffee and therefore stewed . This was a first ! The woman running the breakfast on our first day was excellent trying to keep a fully booked room happy single-handedly with a smile and warm manner .

Love this hotel! Its location near the harbor and right by the main restaurants and sites in Kirkwall is really convenient and safe - with fun things to do all around. The staff were all very pleasant and the pub and restaurant were nice.
