This place is magnificent. We stayed in one of the guest suites and it was very cozy and comfortable. The Inn is visually stunning and deeply rooted in local history. We loved sitting on the patio to have our morning coffee and to finish our night with a drink. John and Steve are gracious hosts who make you feel at home and are genuinely happy to have you stay at their Inn. We highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed.

A great experience, not a hotel, it was like an Inn, Victorian House. Lovely staff, wonderful room with 2 exceptional double beds, like sleeping in a cloud, with lots of amazing pillows. In the morning we received at the door a small cooler with Prosecco, orange juice, muffins & fruit. Pertect way to start the day. Definitely would recommend this lovely Inn when visiting Gananoque, 1000 Island.

It was just wonderful. The room was lovely, clean and spacious. The staff was warm and friendly. One of our favourite things was the breakfast cooler delivered to our room. Giving the option from breakfast in bed to enjoying it in the beautiful courtyard or if preferred, inside. As a smoker, I particularly appreciated the acceptance and courtesy to permit me to enjoy the beautiful setting in an equally beautiful part of the courtyard. I just loved our stay and the owners are wonderful people.

It is a beautifully maintained property. The owners are very accommodating and try their absolute best to fulfill your request. The interior of the Inn is exquisitely decorated with antiques which have a story behind them. We really enjoyed our stay and it was very relaxing. The Wood View House is a stunningly beautiful B&B. Our hosts we welcoming and helpful; and our bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The house is convenient to downtown, and an easy walk to the dock the boat tours leave from. As a bonus there is a very nice intimate restaurant that serves delicious food at dinner.

Great location with ample on-site parking and only a 10 min walk to the marina and the small town centre which also has several bars and restaurants and only a 30 minute drive to Kingston Prior to our arrival, we had not realized they also have a well known, local restaurant in-house, which was able to.accommodate us on our first night .. Throughout our short 2 night stay, we found the food to be excellent ( and able to accommodate my wife's need for gluten free meals) and the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful. They also provided a simple breakfast option, which you can choose to eat in your room, the dining area or the back terrace! I was also personally struck by the obvious care, quality (and attention to detail) of the renovation work the 2 owners had put into the property! This place is definitely worth a visit ! We will be back.

A family owned historic inn/B&B, a 5-10 minute walk to various restaurants and the river cruse boat dock. There is a small fine dining restaurant open 5 days a week for dinner. Food quality was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast is included and comes by a cooler left outside your door. It includes fresh fruit, grapes, cheese, OJ with a bottle of sparking wine, pastries, a bun with butter and jam. Plenty to get me going in the morning, you can eat in your room or at a nice patio in the rear. The room has a coffee maker and a small fridge. My room was quite small and didn’t have a closet or much space to hang anything up. A consideration if you visit in winter or it’s raining. Also, no iron/ironing board. The bathroom was also small and lacked any usable counter space. The only mirror was a small one over the bathroom vanity. As a single traveller I was fine, but a couple may find it challenging. No dresser but ample drawer space in various night stands and the desk. Room was quiet and bed comfortable but had 7 pillows, I found myself tripping over pillows I threw to the floor. If you are looking for a boutique experience this should be on your short list. The staff are amazing and the grounds beautiful. They have a variety of rooms so some may offer better amenities.

My husband and I spent one night at the Woodview Inn last weekend. We had an excellent experience from beginning to end. We were greeted by extremely friendly and helpful owner/staff. We arrived early and were going to do a 3 hour boat tour, our room was not ready to check in early, but the staff offered to store our bags at the front desk so we would not have to leave our belongings in a hot car. The room itself was cozy, tastefully decorated, quiet and extremely clean. Everything you needed to know was included in a guest book including the instructions on letting the hot water run for a bit as the property was older and it could take some time. The room was equipped with a small bar fridge, water bottles, Keurig machine, creamers, coffee/tea, wine glasses and coffee cups. We were also provided the next morning with a lovely cooler at our front door which included freshly baked muffins, rolls, jam/butter, orange juice, mini Mumms champagne to have Mimosas in the a.m., granola bars, bananas, and cheese! This was so lovely. We had the option of having it in our room or to eat on a terrace in the back of the property where fresh coffee and tea were also available. The beds/bedding were very comfortable. We highly recommend this Inn and will definitely return in the future.

Nice spot, very friendly staff. Pricey to be sure. After hearing great things about the restaurant and the inn itself, the continental breakfast(store bought muffins and granola bars) left in a cooler outside our door was a bit incongruous.
