“Hotel opened this week but was far from being ready. No WiFi and no breakfast facility. Room was on 4th floor with no elevator. No air conditioning and impossible to open the window more than a few centimeters. Cheap material and tiny bathroom. It is a real shame it is listed as 4;stars but no indication given of the real state. ”

“Gorgeous hotel with lovely, polite & enthusiastic staff! We were upgraded to a fabulous suite & the parking options were great. We loved this unique boutique hotel which has been decorated & designed with care & passion. Local transport was brilliant & Southsea is a hidden blossoming gem which we’ll be back to see next year! We will of course be checking back in to the Clarence or one of its sisters. Thank you for making our stay so memorable x”

“I absolutely loved my stay at Lady Hamilton! I was in town for the historic dockyard and was thrilled to find a room in a historic pub! They were were helpful with my check in time (which was out of normal hours due to a delayed flight etc etc). The room was very spacious and The bed was comfortable. “If you are interested in the Victory or the Mary Rose it is right across the street. Super great. Parking down the street was easy but prefer not to have to do it. But if you have to remote park, it wasn't a big deal. It was pretty easy.”

“Gorgeous room and lovely decor overall although a few things were broken opun arrival e.g. One of the blinds pull strings was snapped and one of the plant pots was crackes. The staff were very courteous and helpful. I would rate higher but the rooom did not come with any bath products or a hair dryer, and the tea and coffee was kept in the hallway between the rooms rather than having a selection in the room. Will definitely stay again if this is fixed. ”
