“The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular...

“We got to this property by chance. What a fun surprise. It is an old but very well kept inn. It has many beautiful hikes around. It is in the middle of nowhere. And that makes it even more fantastic. ”

There was a large fan provided, which was very welcome given the heatwave that was taking place that week, We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. “Lovely B&B with spacious, comfy room & bathroom, all spotless and containing everything we needed. Excellent breakfast with a good selection of bars and restaurants nearby for dinner. Easy walk from here down to Bowness. Easy check-in and advance breakfast ordering system but the icing on the cake were the lovely staff. Advised them we had just got quietly married and got back to find they’d decorated our bed! So sweet ❤️”

“Only small gripe was the shower head had a bit of black mould on it and one roller blind came away whilst I was closing it. Luckily my husband was able to clip it back in quickly. Room and bedding both clean, grounds beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was fantastic, quality hot cooked breakfast and very pleasant staff. We would visit again, thank you.”

El baño tenía una pileta de pie, cero lugar para apoyar los 2 necessaires de viaje. Las canillas eran de fria por un lado y caliente por el otro. Sin mezcladora. O sea que para lavarse las manos hay que llenar la pileta o congelarse la derecha mientras...
