The grounds are incredibly beautiful. Its right on the water with beautiful falls flowing through the property. The hotel is well maintained. There is a free shuttle to Kenmare which is only a few min away. The town of Kenmare was so quaint with great restaurants and pubs. We ate at the Stables Restaurant at the hotel one night which was excellent. We went to town for dinner the 2nd night which was also an excellent experience. We used the tennis courts and spa. You can easily get to the Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula and Killarney National Park from this hotel. I like that this hotel was in a quaint town rather than staying in the busier town of Kilarney. The staff is so helpful and nice. We staying in multiple hotels as we travelled around Ireland and this was our favorite one of the entire trip.

We had a wonderful stay from start to finish. Beautiful food, helpful staff, beautiful room. Great spa experience also. Francisco in the Stables restaurant where we had dinner was exceptional and so good at his job. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We were absolutely delighted with our choice to stay at Sheen Falls Lodge. From the moment we arrived, every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and valued. The hospitality was exceptional throughout our stay. Our room was outstanding, with a phenomenal view overlooking the water that made it difficult to leave. Waking up to such beautiful scenery was a highlight of our trip. Breakfast each morning was wonderful, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. We stayed for two nights before continuing our journey, and we only wished we could have stayed longer. Sheen Falls Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it and would gladly return on a future visit to Ireland.

A beautiful location and a charming hotel Sheen Falls Lodge enjoys a truly remarkable location, surrounded by beautiful scenery and overlooking the river and waterfalls. The setting is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the property, and the hotel itself is very beautiful, with plenty of character and an elegant atmosphere. The service was generally pleasant and courteous, but not always at the level of professionalism and attention to detail we would expect from a Relais & Châteaux hotel. There were certainly some excellent members of staff who stood out for their kindness and professionalism, but the overall experience was somewhat inconsistent. Overall, Sheen Falls Lodge remains a very special place, primarily thanks to its exceptional setting and character. We hope that, with a little more attention to service and to ensuring consistent standards across the whole team, the experience can fully match the exceptional setting and reputation of the hotel. In particular, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for the wonderful service we received from Mahid during both our dinner at the Stables brasserie and breakfast at Sheen Falls Hotel. He was attentive and helpful throughout, always with a genuine smile and discreet. His professionalism and kindness truly contributed to making our stay even more enjoyable. He is a real asset to the hotel and deserves our warmest thanks.

2 wonderful nights at Sheen Falls

Amazing location, staff and food. 2 nights was not enough and you never have to leave the grounds to experience breathtaking scenery, world class food and a great pint of Guinness.

Lovely and charming hotel. Our room was beautiful and the view and location is 5 stars all the way! The breakfast staff were a little snooty but the rest were absolutely wonderful. Be sure to go into the cute town of Kilmare nearby. I would have spent more time there if I’d known about it.

This is a top class hotel where everything is done to the highest standarfs and yet it remains friendly and un-fussy. Our superior deluxe room had loads of space and the lighting was good. The Falls restaurant is excellent and was the main reason for our one night stay

Perfect stay

Simply excellent, service is perfect and the grounds are beautiful. Bed is comfortable and breakfast is tasty. Deep tissue massage is not very deep and probably not worth the money but everything else was just great.

Luxury in a gorgeous setting

A beautifully situated luxury hotel where eberything is done to a very high standard. Our room had lovely views over the falls. The Falls restaurant is superb although I would prefer traditional dining chairs over the pub style semi-lounge chairs that they have which are bad for the posture wheen eating and are slightly to low. Over all, expensive and worth it.

Beautiful location, exactly as I was hoping it would be. 5 star hotel, 5 star service. Friendly staff went out of their way to make sure I was happy and taken care of. I did the horse riding and falconry activities and both were superb. The hotel is an easy walk from Kenmare town, and the hotel arranged for a ride for me to the town after I checked out. Food was delicious. I had afternoon tea as well as breakfast. I would absolutely recommend Sheen Falls Lodge, and will stay here again on my next trip to Ireland. Love it.

The pool lets the place down. The tiles are green in place's which gives you the creeps. The hot tub was closed during our stay which looked much nicer than the pool. It definitely affected the enjoyment of my stay. The pool facility needs a massive investment. We enjoyed the hot whiskey on arrival. The room we had was lovely. I was a little disappointed on the bath as it was kind of small. The views are spectacular and it definitely made the stay. I also really enjoyed the pornstar martini (Kerrys kiss) cocktail. We ate in the saddle bar and the food was very disappointing. The cocktails were bad in the saddle bar too. We were disappointed with a few things in our stay - the quality of the breakfast was good but the whole service was a bit off for us. We asked to change seat as a nicer setting came up and we were pushed from Peter to Paul to try and change seat. Then our breakfast was left sitting for a while and we never got our tea. Also for the turn down service I asked would the attendant come back in 10 minutes and he wouldn't. Not sure if it was a language barrier. I had also asked the hotel if they could do anything nice for us as I was celebrating 5 years in remission which is a massive milestone for me. There was no mention or nothing done for us. Its a little bit of a hard pill to swallow when the hotel offers influencers free stays etc and they didnt do anything for a paying customer.

Place is elegant and formal. The setting is very nice, and the waterfalls are beautiful. There are a lot of staff, and many are just standing around or looking at their computer. Just not a lot of people going out of their way to make sure that you are delighted with your stay. I got there a little early and was made to wait in the lobby until check in time (which was fine), but then told it was going to be "another hour" for my room to be ready, and then, after some staff discussions, they found me a room. They didn't seem too thrilled. Upon check out I discovered I had a free breakfast and I asked the front desk person at 10:06 am if I could still get breakfast and he told me that I had missed breakfast because it "closed at 10 am." But then I walked to the breakfast room and it was filled with people and the host gladly sat me. The attitude should be to make customers happy, which is not the attitude of the people in reception at all.
