The place had everything for comfortable stay. The only thing they could improve is is they could provide onsite restaurant though I understand it may not be viable for the owners. We had excellent stay at the Sami beach hotel.

Sami beach hotel is beautifully designed-it is absolutely gorgeous but the best is the owners Roula and her husband who are warm and friendly, the entire staff is exceptionally professional, polite and knowledgeable which is a clear reflection of a family run business. They all made us feel like family, made sure we were comfortable, words can’t express how happy we were and sad that we left-we are definitely planning on coming back again. Thank you to everyone for our beautiful stay.

Sami Beach is a great hotel, in an excellent location for accessing restaurants etc in Sami. It has a nice beach front, uncrowded and relaxing, and a lovely, well maintained pool. We hope to return.

It looks even better than the photos! The room is great, the bed is huge! Lovely and clean bathroom. The staff were all amazing, we loved the buffet breakfast as there was so much choice. The food and drink menu for lunch at the bar was great. The pool is lovely. The umbrellas on the beach were a great addition for free. About a 15 min walk into Sami, so close to Melissani cave also. We will be coming back, everyone who was there seemed to know each other also which shows everyone comes back!

Sami Beach was excellent. Quite a long drive from the airport but well worth it. The views from the hotel both out to sea and inland over the forests and mountain are wonderful. The hotel was very welcoming and friendly. Sami is the best town on this lovely island. Quiet out of season but lots to see and do, and great food.

Lovely staff and very easy to park. Good location and room size was very generous. It's super easy and safe to walk to Sami for dinner. Lots of options for breakfast and staff are very happy to help. The bathroom sink was abit small and lacked storage but other than that wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sami Beach Hotel. We’d booked 3 nights at the hotel but ended up staying for 10 nights as we were massively let down by the villa owner on the day of arrival in Kefalonia (we’d booked 5 months prior). Caroline on reception and owner Spiro couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely family run hotel. 20 minutes walk to supermarket and restaurants on the seafront. However the restaurant in the square, few minutes walk is very good and great atmosphere. Would suggest a car to explore other beaches. Alternatively “Hop On” boat hire just by the hotel is run by a nice couple so you can explore the coast and go to beaches than cars are unable to. Would recommend this hotel to friends & family.

Relaxing seafront stay

Very enjoyable stay in the Garden Suite. We had a very relaxing stay, making good use of the pool, with the additional option of the sea at the front of the hotel. Service was very attentive from all the staff. Plenty of loungers available at all times. Well situated, a 20 minute stroll from the main restaurants in Sami, which was a lovely walk by the sea. Would definitely return.
